
Carroll County Schools Nutrition Services will be offering a 10-day boxed meal kit to children ages 1 - 18. These may be picked up on assigned dates starting Friday June 6. Each box will contain 10 complete breakfasts and 10 complete lunches, all at NO COST TO OUR FAMILIES. All contents of the boxes are shelf stable items to help with limited refrigerator and freezer space. Each box will contain a menu that will show what items should be included to make a specific meal for each day. These meals are procured through a vendor and are not prepared by the school district. However, District Food Service staff will be in charge of the distribution. Please sign up to ensure that we have enough boxes on hand to meet demand. Sign ups will run through July 14. Carroll County Schools is collecting money to benefit Special Olympics Kentucky. You can bag up your coins or grab a handful from your console of your car and drop them at the board of education office, 813 Hawkins Street. Thank you for supporting Special Olympics!

Carroll County Area Technology Center students teamed up to work on building a deer stand.

The Class of 2025 took a final walk through all of the hallways in the district's schools yesterday. They paraded in their cap and gown to the cheers, applause and hugs from students and staff lining the halls. (More photos on the District Facebook page.)

Pathfinder of the Year nominees John Tooter Booth and Crystal Raisor were recognized by the Carroll County Board of Education last night. The nominations were made through the Kentucky Community and Technical College System for educators who encourage students to attend a KCTS college, help identify a career path and provide mentorship to students.

CCHS will have its Field Day tomorrow afternoon! The track team will be selling concessions, and the Student Council will be providing free popsicles. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen, as all activities will be held outside!


There will be a brief meeting on Tuesday May 27th at 5 PM in the high school cafeteria for any parent/athlete interested in running cross country in the fall. This is open to all Carroll County students who will be in grades 2-12 for the 2025-2026 school year. CCHS Junior Shelby Hillebrandt is working with the regional FFA officer team to collect donations for communities devastated by the recent tornadoes. Shelby's family hails from that region of the state and she will be delivering items to the London, Clay and Hazard areas over Memorial Day weekend.
This is a quick turnaround donation drive with everything due by 3 p.m. on Friday. Please see the flyer for items needed.

The championship games of the District 31 baseball and softball tournament have been delayed due to weather. They will both be played at Panther Field on Wednesday, May 21 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $8 each and can be purchased with cash or card. A fee applies to card purchases. No passes are accepted.
